Ford had done a deal with United Auto Workers union

On Wednesday, Ford Motor and United Auto Workers Union announced that they both had reached an agreement for a new labor deal.

This deal, it shows that it will soon allow the world’s second US automaker to avoid the strike. Is all this done to prevent further loss in the future, which stands at nearly $3 billion?

In this development, it can be seen that the union had turned towards the Ford and gone for the negotiation of new four year agreements with the company.  All these happen after ratifying the contract with the last week with GM. All these steps had taken place in a 40 day US Strike in which it almost shut down GM’s North American operations in a significant way.

But with all these announcements from the company, it shows that there is no information about the precise terms of the deal. But with these things in store, it has been expected that these things will get echo with GM, and it is done in a union type that uses the first deal as the pattern for all of the things that follow in it.

Ford, too, confirmed this deal, but it declined to comment further on it.
