Dubai is all set to host an exclusive auction where they will be selling 350 premium vehicle number plates. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is offering these fancy number plates, ranging from 3 to 5 digits, for private and vintage vehicles with specific codes.
The 72nd online auction will feature some highly coveted plates, including

- T 451
- L 69069
- A 50052
- V 1107
- V 5567
- T 2223
- R 33434
Dubai hosts an auction for exclusive number plate
Registration for bidders started on Monday, July 24, and the bidding process will begin at 8 am on Monday, July 31. The auction will run for five days only, so interested participants will need to act quickly.
It’s important to note that there will be a 5% VAT on the selling of licensing plates at this auction. To participate, each bidder must have a Traffic File opened in Dubai and provide a security cheque of AED 5,000 made payable to RTA. Additionally, there is a non-refundable participation fee of AED 120.
Payment for the number plates can be made at Customers Happiness Centres in Umm Al Ramool, Al Barsha, or Deira. Alternatively, bidders can use credit cards via the RTA website or the Dubai Drive app to complete their payments.
